Dramaturg Leayne Dempsey sat down on Zoom with Takia “Tiki” Hopson, touring cast member of TINA: The Tina Turner Musical on October 5th, 2022 for this interview. They talk about the audition process, advice they would give to their younger selves, and the cultural relevance of a work of art like TINA. Students from The National Theatre’s Teens Behind the Scenes program came to see the show on October 8th.
