HALF-PRICE TICKET PROGRAM

A limited allotment of half-price Special Patron Tickets (SPT) are offered for sale at the box office (only) for most shows, subject to availability and certain restrictions, as a courtesy to patrons in the categories listed below. The tickets are available only for certain performances, generally on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings or Sunday matinees.
The allotment of SPTs is limited and they are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

This deep discount is made possible through contributions made by our supporters, by the show producers and the trustees of the National Theatre.

SPT purchases are made with the express understanding that all tickets will be used only by eligible patrons, and admission may be denied if a ticket is presented for the admission of an unqualified patron.

Be aware that all special patrons share the same limited allotment of tickets, which often sell out. For information about the availability of SPTs, call (202) 628-6161 on weekdays between 10 am and 5 pm.
