Refreshment Bars

Theatre refreshment bars, serving both soft and hard drinks as well as candy, are available in the Outer Lobby (street level), the Helen Hayes Gallery (up one level from the Orchestra seating, down one level from the Mezzanine) and the Balcony.

No food or drink is allowed in the theatre. Please finish any items before returning to your seat and dispose of any wrappers, cups or containers in the provided trash receptacles.

Quick Drinks Program - Reserve Your Drinks and Snacks
To make things go more smoothly you can reserve your intermission drinks and snacks at any bar before the show. They will be ready for you at the break so that you will have more time to enjoy them, with no time standing in a long line. It's also a good idea to beat the rush and purchase any souvenirs (available on the street-level Outer Lobby) before the show.

Coat Check

Coat check service is available during cold weather. However, since there are hundreds of people in the audience, you may want to wear a non-bulky coat and keep it with you, so that you can avoid standing in a long line when you exit the theatre.

Furs or other extraordinarily expensive wraps should not be checked.

Rest Rooms - Elevator

Rest rooms and drinking fountains are located on the second, third and fourth floor levels of the theatre.

An elevator to all floors of the theatre is available off the main lobby.

Lost and Found

Information on retrieval of lost articles is available 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday by calling 202-628-6161.

Emergency - Babysitters

Theatre-goers can be reached at 202-628-6165 only if their seat number locations can be provided by the caller.
