The Ugly Duckling
Enjoy a hilarious, heartfelt version of the Hans Christian Andersen classic,
presented by BRIGHT STAR THEATRE. Zoe Von Eggbert is pecked and picked on until
she undergoes a miraculous transformation into the most beautiful swan in the
land. Volunteers play a chicken, a turkey and a flamingo, and
everyone learns lessons in friendship, kindness and acceptance!

The Mom and Me Show
ROSANNE, MEGAN and the lovable DENNIS THE DAZED DUCK lead a fast-paced merry
musical romp. Children sing along to the kid-friendly lyrics of all-original
songs: Planting Seeds, the Echo Song, I Love America, Na Na Na, The Cowpoke
Song, Stand and Shake, We Get Around, Running, Friends, the Brushing Song, and
of course: Dennis the Duck's own theme song, It's a Hoot and a Quack!

A Midsummer Night's Dream
Shakespeare performances by and for children are created by STAGEPLAY. Adults
and kids will enjoy this magical romp through an enchanted forest where enemies
fall magically in love, an actor turns into a donkey, and rulers of the fairy
kingdom battle over a boy. All ends joyously! HEATHER SANDERSON
directs the youngsters.

The Fastest Plane on the Planet
All systems are go for an earth-circling tour! Hop aboard for a multi-lingual
round-trip flight featuring acrobatics, storytelling and music. With Tour Director
ARIANNA ROSS, children will dance through the streets of America, Mexico and
India, discovering diverse cultures through charming folk tales and stories.

Comedy, Juggling & Other Disasters
Whether teetering atop a tall unicycle or flinging apples, balls and knives
into the air, RICH POTTER is an unstoppable whirlwind of off-beat and off-balance
juggling and humor. His silly style and spontaneity leave audiences screaming
with laughter and begging for more. Parents and grandparents will enjoy
Rich's comical mishaps as much as the youngsters!

Halloween Costumes and Not-Too-Spooky Improvs
It's time for BARRYMORE EAGLE'S HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARADE so children can march
in their Trick-or-Treat best! The kid-friendly improvisation troupe NOW THIS!
will transform audience suggestions into rib-tickling musical tales of cats
and moons, witches on brooms, and not-very-scary ghosties and goblins.

YoJo Pigs Out!
You just gotta love YoJo! He's the biggest, grooviest, fuzziest blue guy you'll
ever meet. But he's been binging on junk food big-time. Uh-Oh! After some comical
fitness challenges he learns that it's actually fun to be fit. He'll have the
young ones (and even couch potatoes in the audience) up on their feet doing
his YoJo-robotics!

Mutts Gone Nuts
Enjoy a show full of merriment as JESSIE AND JAMES AND THE GANG-a cast of canny
canines-take the stage. The young-of-heart will love this fast-moving circus
of amazing animal feats, juggling, jokes and laughter: a riot of doggie delights.
The pooches and their human partners will have you barking with laughter.

A Christmas Carol
An interactive adventure presents Charles Dickens' ever-green holiday tale of
Tiny Tim Crachit and the hard-hearted Ebenezer Scrooge. The old miser's redemption
from ill-humor and grumpy greed is brought vividly to life by the delightfully
charming, entrancing and whimsical story-teller, CHRIS DAVIS.

Christmas Dreams From "The Nutcracker"
Snowflakes and Sugar Plum Sweets are in the air as the VIRGINIA BALLET COMPANY
AND SCHOOL present selections from their magical, glittering Nutcracker. Familiar
music, lively dances, lovely costumes and charming characters from Tchaikovsky's
classic confection bring us elegant and amusing holiday cheer.

Meet Penguin Bob!
Artist, author and illustrator JOE JAMALDINIAN recounts the escapades of his
lovable creation
PENGUIN BOB, and launches BARRYMORE EAGLE'S KIDS' ART & KOLORING KONTEST.
Joe sketches an exciting adventure in which Bob follows his quest to teach children
to follow their dreams in a multi-cultural world of fascinating people.

Michael Taggert: Magician Extraordinaire
Everyone will be amazed and amused as this adroit and personable magician does
marvels with scarves and balls and wizard's wands. Audience volunteers help
him make the magic! At the conclusion of his performance he floats up in the
air into a mini-snowstorm: a lovely, magical moment not to be missed.

Treasure Quest! Rollicking Pirate Comedy
Ahoy, Mates! Captain Nobeard is a swash-buckling, bumbling scoundrel of a buccaneer
who has lost his treasure and his "X-Marks-the-Spot" map. Cursed to
search the seas, he employs a little magic, much amusement and lots of help
from his audience mates to regain the gold. MATTHEW PAULI leads this merriest
of misadventures.

Picture a jaw-dropping juggler tossing a dozen cigar boxes, a bowling ball,
a chain-saw, or a bunch of bananas while balancing atop a unicycle! Add audience

of mystery and madness: he's outrageous, zany, off-beat and totally irresistible.

Comedian Uncle Ty-Rone and a Box Full of Fun
Dummy guests at this zany party include Ty-Rone's son Ty-J, their shaggy dog
Raggzz, Jellybean the Outrageous Orangutan and Tilford Speakwood, Ty-Rone's
little brother. Rousing music, sing-a-longs, comedy and ventriloquism support
positive life and behavior messages.

Tom Crowl & His Sassy Friends
An adroit ventriloquist, TOM CROWL shares the stage with his rambunctious pals.
"Dangerous" Dudley Duck lives life on the edge, blurting out everything
that pops into his head. Clair Voy Ant, the French Psychic Insect, sees all,
knows all, and tells all, like it or not! Raoul the Monkey and Percival the
Pirate complete the crazy cast.

Shimmer Swimmers
Undersea fish tales: a beautiful mermaid, a rabbit who outwits crocodiles and
other fascinating sea creatures come to life in the stories, songs and shadow
puppets of the delightful LYNN RUEHLMANN. The audience joins in with singing
and gestures. This nautical adventure is oceans of fun for small fry and big
fish as well.

Kindercise
All hands, "Up on your feet!" as song-and-dance super-hero KINDERMAN
involves even the tiniest tots in his high-energy exercise act! This whirlwind
performer mixes ancient African Call-and-Response with his "Disco King"
background, creating a maelstrom of energy, excitement and laughing fun. The

be jumpin' with joy!

Have A Ball With Spencer "Spinny" Johnson
The audience gets into the act with a Globe Trotter Alumnus and basketball star,
celebrated for high scoring, integrity, and trick-shot artistry. SPINNY gives
a dynamic display of digital dexterity, and invites anyone to step up and join
in! Behind dazzling fast-action tricks are inspiring lessons in respect, goal-setting,
and
self-confidence. Last day to turn in entries for BARRYMORE EAGLE'S KIDS' ART
& KOLORING KONTEST.

Boogie Woogie Bow-Wows: The Canine Dance Theater
Two amazing terpsichorean pooches are the doggie's answer to Fred and Ginger.
Lynn Franklin and her standard poodle Sam, with Joan Rose and her miniature
longhair dachshund Tucker, present a fast-paced musical romp. The doggies ride
a skateboardand jump through hoops, and act out famous movie scenes-from a dog's
point of view, of course. BARRYMORE EAGLE will present prizes today in his KIDS'
ART & KOLORING KONTEST.
