It Might as Well Be Spring are full of humor, but always faithful
to the charts and performed with a high regard for the composers. The
technique and syncopated passages will leave you breathless and smiling.
BOB THULMAN leads the band.
November 1- ABSURD?
This trio of one act plays by CARLY ChURCHEY
and BARBARA BRYAN, is presented by DC’s STEALING THUNDER COMPANY.
Meet a neurotic weatherman, a talking teddy bear, four strangers who meet
at a bus stop, and a woman who is trying to "break out of the box"
in ONE, LUST and THE WALL. These arresting
experiments in absurdism created by area playwrights are astonishing and
amusing.
November 8 - THE HEXAGONERS
No holds are barred in the irreverent songs
and sketches of Washington's famed HEXAGON, Washington’s only original,
political, satirical, musical comedy revue. For nearly 50 years, this
annual original extravaganza has been deflating the pompous, observing
the unusual, and poking riotous fun at national as well as local foibles
in scenes and song. It's a non-stop evening of mirth and melody, insight
and hilarity when these audacious, bodacious, talented and clever court
jesters are in charge.
November 15 - MUSIC FROM MY HEART with HELEN DAY
Enjoy an evening of cabaret with HELEN DAY,
who adds her own special enchantment to enduring favorites from the Great
American Songbook. Savor familiar and not-so-familiar tunes from jazz
to Broadway all with Ms. Day's own unique styling. Sit back, relax, remember
.... and dream.

Tonight, you will be the guest of First
Lady. MARY WISEMAN, as Mrs. Washington, remembers eventful
Christmases in her life - at the first Presidential residence in Philadelphia,
the capitol of the United States at the time - at Mount Vernon - and of
course, the Christmas she was married. She shares an insider's view of
the workings, etiquette and protocol surrounding the Washingtons' private
world, and their life as our nation's very first, First Family.
Step back in time for a very special visit, not soon to be forgotten.
