IS AN OCTAVE a synergistic fusion of visual art,
dance and music. Jazz legend Buck Hill has recorded saxaphone solo interpretations
of portraits by local painter YVETTE KRAFT. Celebrated jazz pianist PETER
EDELMAN, and choreographer DOUGLAS YUELL, will improvise additional music, and
dances, based on the canvases.

UNCOMMON FRIENDS IN RECKONING is
an original play set in a hospital during World War II. Sophie, an African-American
nurse, is caring for Ruth, a terminally-ill escapee from a Nazi concentration
camp. Playwright INGRID CORNELL probes the life-changing drama which results
from the challenge of a death-bed request.
